Yet another month has just flown by! It is amazing how in just 3 short months we have seen progress and change in each of your children and the class as a whole! We have been so lucky this month with the beautiful weather and gorgeous leaves giving us so much to talk about and observe. Some of the highlights this month were around leaves on the playground. We collected them, watched them fall, talked about their colors and sizes and even enjoyed crunching and crumbling them.
Our theme this month was squares, the color brown, Thanksgiving and the season of fall. Arts and Crafts continue to be the class favorite! If the paint comes out or the mats to get a project started we have a big crowd around the table. We continue to explore different materials and mediums. All the children are eager to try the crafts and some even have a hard time leaving.
We introduced many new songs this month and we certainly have a group of singers. I am sure you have heard their versions or bits and pieces of their versions at home! The Christmas songs are beginning as I mentioned in one of my weekly updates. The class is picking those up slowly but surely. It is only a matter of time before they start singing those at home too.
We are having so much fun and I cannot get over how eager this class is to learn. Circle times get better and better every week! Jobs are very serious business and I am proud at how each child does their job with willingness.
