The most wonderful time of the year has arrived! The children are so excited for the Christmas Season and all the activities that go along with it. I enjoyed meeting with you all for conferences and am excited for how much progress you will see in just the next few months.
I am working with the children one on one while we practice tracing their name as well as recognizing their name. Soon I will be taking their pictures off the attendance board and they will need to identify their name only. We do ease into this and assistance is always happily available until they are confident with this task.
We will continue with our letters throughout December and will have completed up to letter M before leaving for Christmas break. Our themes this month are Christmas, family traditions, gift giving, and reviewing all our shapes and colors.
On Monday, December 16th we will have “Lunch Bunch with Santa”. The cost for this event is $8.00 and a ticket can be purchased anytime up until the 16th. This lunch bunch includes lunch so no need to pack! We will be serving pizza, carrots and a cookie. Each child will have an opportunity to visit with Santa during the lunch. It is always a fun event. Please see me with any questions you may have.
We are working hard on preparations for the Christmas Concert on December 18th. Our show will begin promptly at 10:00 in the Chapel. Immediately following the show, you can pick your child up from our classroom and join us for light refreshments in the big room.
Mrs. Neiburg and I wish you all a very Merry Christmas!
