I can't believe it is already December! I really enjoyed talking with all of you at conferences. Your children have all adjusted so well to our classroom routine. We will have more detailed conferences in the spring, but never hesitate to contact me with questions or concerns. December is sure to be a busy month here at Concordia! We will be talking about the changing season, what it means to give to others, sharing our holiday traditions, reading some holiday books and having fun doing lots of arts and crafts, as well as practicing our songs for the Christmas Social! Mrs. Spillan has also put a mailbox in the lobby for letters to Santa.
Please remember that we do go outside when it is cold, so make sure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather. Having your child practice putting on his or her coat at home would also be great and helps us get out the door to the playground faster. Also, mittens tend to be much easier for children to put on themselves than gloves with fingers.
Below is a list of important dates for the month, but I will also be sending home additional details as each one approaches, so make sure to check cubbies and the Friday emails for more information.
